Welcome to 8th Grade Science!

I am passionate about teaching science so I am constantly finding new ways to bring science to life for my students.  This is my eighteenth year teaching at Garvy.  I earned my undergraduate degree from University of Wisconsin-Madison.  Then went to Northeastern Illinois University for my teaching certificate.  Since I started teaching at Garvy, I have earned a Masters in Curriculum and Instruction from Concordia and a Masters in Science for STEM Education from DePaul University.
