Girl Scouts
Garvy has a very active Girl Scout troop!
Formal meetings for Juniors (4th-5th) and Cadettes (6th-8th) will begin in October on a monthly basis. We have a yearly holiday party in December and an end-of-the-year party in June. The girls decide what we do in between!
At this time, all in-person group gatherings are canceled until further notice given the current state and federal COVID-19 orders. I'll be posting activities for the girls to remain active with on BAND and the Cadette Google Classroom.
I currently support Girl Scouts from 4th grade through 8th grade. Feel free to email [email protected] with any questions!
We do not currently have kindergarten or 1st-grade troops. If you're interested in starting a new troop at this grade level, let me know and I can connect you with our council contacts.
If you're interested in joining the 2nd-grade troop, please reach out to Mrs. Sutherland ([email protected]). If you're interested in joining the 3rd-grade troop, please reach out to Mrs. Hadden ([email protected]).
Please do NOT contact the main office regarding Girl Scouts' information. Our Girl Scout troop only uses the school building for meetings. Mrs. Crespo and Mrs. Gadzinski have no additional information regarding meetings or Scouts in general other than what is on these pages.
