Back to School Counseling Groups

In August, the counselors at Athans & Associates in Park Ridge, will be running a group for rising 3rd, 4th and 5th graders called Back to School Bootcamp. It will be 3 days in a row (Tuesday Aug. 12 to Thursday Aug. 14), for 2 hours each day (9 am – 11 am). You can learn more about the group here: https://www.athansandassociates.net/groups

This group is designed to help children feel excited about the school year ahead. Our goals will be to reduce school anxiety and refusal, as well as improving social skills and task management. We’ll also be offering private sessions with parents to give them education and skills to support their child. Students can sign up by contacting our office or me directly at [email protected]
