Introducing our student teacher for Fall, 2021:

Marisela Lugo

"My name is Marisela Lugo, I have started student teaching in your child’s classroom with Mrs. Navarro, room 204 this fall (September 27th – December 10th).  I am excited to be in your child’s classroom and I know we are all going to have a great time.  During my time in room 204, my roles and responsibilities will be teaching lessons, conducting small group activities, co-teaching and learning all that I can from Mrs. Navarro. Following student teaching I will be graduating from National Louis University with a Masters of Arts in Elementary Education and a Bilingual Endorsement in Spanish.  I will be graduating in December of 2021 and I am so excited to soon have a classroom of my own.

I was born and raised in Chicago.   I am married to a wonderful husband who is a Chicago Fireman/Paramedic.  I have two wonderful children, a son that is 15 years old (sophomore in high school)  and a daughter that is 12 years old (7th grade).   I have one younger brother who is a Chiropractor Doctor that lives in Atlanta, Georgia.  .  I love to travel and spend time with my family.  I also love to explore the outdoors, nature and ride my bike during my free time.

I am looking forward to meeting every parent during my student teaching time and getting to know your child more during my experience."

Sincerely,

Marisela Lugo
