Welcome back for the 2026-2027 school year!

I am starting my 14th year at Garvy teaching Resource Special Education in the subjects of English Language Arts, Math, Science and Social Studies.

I am starting my Master's program at NEIU for my LBS2 (behavior specialist and curriculum adaptation. I earned my Bachelor's degree in Special Education from Western Illinois University in 2012.

I plan to coach a variety of sports (Volleyball, Basketball, Flag Football).

When I am not working, I enjoy playing softball year round; 1 league during the winter, 4 softball leagues during the spring/summer + a handful of tournaments, and 3 leagues during the fall -- all differ in what ball; 16 inch, 14 inch hard ball and 14 inch mush ball.

I also enjoy bowling with my family/friends in different leagues on different days of the month.

All my animals are keeping me busy! My dog Groot and my cats Loki, Bucky and Rocket.

I am so excited to begin this school year and to experience all the new adventures this school year brings!
