Welcome to Computer Science Lab(Learning Technology) Room 207
Hello and welcome to Computer Science Lab (Learning Technology) Room 207. I want to start by introducing myself and saying how excited I am to begin another year of teaching at Garvy School. This will be my 19th year of teaching. I began my career at Oak Park District 97, Oak Park,IL. I taught there for 6 years and then decided to teach in Chicago Public Schools. I started teaching Computer Science-Learning Technology @ Garvy School since 2007. Over the past 12 years I have been working as a Computer Science Teacher and Technology Coordinator; Teaching and developing technology among the students and teachers.
My Bachelors degree was in Engineering, I have earned two Masters Degrees from DePaul University. The first degree was a Masters in Elementary Education with a Math and Science Endorsement, and the second degree was a Masters in School Administration Type-75.
Learning is a lifelong process, and I look forward to continuing my education while at Garvy!
Technology is such a fun and rewarding subject. I teach Coding, Scratch, Microsoft office, Google tools, One Note, Raspberry to K-8th grade students. Your child will grow in many ways both academically and socially. I am so thrilled to be part of this experience with you and your child.
Be Safe and Be Happy!
