Seventh Grade Science and Social Studies
Welcome to seventh grade! I have been teaching science since 2008 in the Chicago Public Schools as well as in the suburbs. This is my first year at Garvy and I am excited to bring my style of teaching to your students. I enjoy experiential learning and love to see students engaged with projects and experiments. I earned my elementary education teaching certificate from Northeastern Illinois University in 2008 and my Master of Science in Science Education Degree from Depaul University in 2015. Outside of teaching I enjoy spending time with my family, the outdoors, riding bikes, and playing hockey.
